Unity in diversity

This photographic series captures the people who shape the Afro Pfingsten Festival and celebrates the vibrancy and diversity of Switzerland’s Afro community. Working with a documentary approach, we moved through the festival as observers, but quickly found ourselves drawn in by the openness of everyone we met. The series portrays the festival not simply as a market, but as a living meeting place where community is created in real time. It reflects the energy of the people who welcomed us, and the atmosphere that turns the festival into a space of connection and cultural presence.
