Swiss overshoot day

For Swiss Overshoot Day 2025, we unrolled an F4-width and 71-meter-long receipt on the Lindenhof in Zurich’s Old Town. The receipt featured 127 questions, one for each of the first 127 days of the year, addressing consumption habits and climate politics. The numbers on the receipt were presented as a countdown, continuously increasing and interrupted by ASCII illustrations. The action was complemented by a receipt printer that, based on a random principle, printed three of the 127 questions onto a compact version of the receipt, serving as a takeaway thought starter for passersby. After the performance, the large receipt was cut into 56 F4 posters, overprinted with a screen-print motif, and raffled off. The project was created within the Minor Student Design Agency and realized in collaboration with Greenpeace Switzerland.
